The Garden Whisperer is Wren Hollow’s signature house call service, offering personalized, in-home garden consultations to help you understand what your landscape wants to become.


Whether you’re unsure how to refresh a tired bed, struggling with plant placement, or dreaming up your next seasonal project, we bring clarity, inspiration, and gentle guidance — all delivered with boots on the ground and trowel in hand.

What We Offer

Standard Garden Consultation

A 60–75 minute in-person visit to walk your space, discuss concerns and dreams, and offer tailored guidance.

Includes:

✔ Walk-through and soil/plant health observations

✔ Advice on design, layout, pruning, irrigation, and plant selection

✔ Seasonal care and maintenance tips

✔ A written follow-up summary with key recommendations

Cost: $150 per visit (within 20 miles of Wren Hollow), Add $25 travel fee for longer distances. 

The Whisperer’s Notes (Optional Add-On)

Receive a curated reference packet tailored to your garden's conditions, including plant suggestions, and care calendars. Cost: $45

Mini Planting Plan (Optional Add-On)

Get a basic 2-D planting layout for one area (front bed, courtyard, or container collection). Cost: $85

The Follow-Up Visit

Ideal for clients who want continued support over the seasons. We return to assess changes, answer new questions, or assist with new projects.
Cost: $95 (existing clients only)

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Just bring your questions and any garden hopes or headaches. We love before photos, plant lists, or old design plans — but none are required.

  • Absolutely. We’ll recommend varieties suited to your microclimate, style, and water needs. For full planting plans, we may recommend our Design Studio in The Drawing Room.

  • We’re happy to connect you with trusted contractors.
